We are always SO busy. Busy with school, work, relationships, kids etc. But do we ever take time to sit back and reflect on ourselves? Are YOU taking time to sit back and focus on yourself? If the answer is no, it is okay, but I do have a challenge for you.
45 Minutes.
Take AT LEAST 45 Minutes to yourself. Take this time to focus on what you as an individual need. You might think...that's selfish of me to just block off time for me. Self-Care is not selfish!
How do I use my 45 Minutes?
I work out. There are days where I try and talk myself out of going (actually almost every single time) but I tell myself it's 45 Minutes. 45 Minutes out of my day to work on myself. After the sweaty 45 Minutes are over, I always feel better.
It took me not feeling confident in my own skin and not making time for myself to turn to working out as a way for ME to feel better. Just know that everyone's 45 minutes are going to be different, but what is important is making sure that you are at your best. If that 45 minutes is watching Netflix while wearing a charcoal mask while sipping on a glass of wine...YOU DO YOU HONEY! (This is me on the weekends).
*CAUTION 45 Minutes may turn into a binge, or 2 or 3 and trust me, no judgement here, ever!*
